Refund policy
At Viand Mercantile. we believe in finding unique and unforgettable items for the home. Part of our core mission is to be good stewards of the environment by buying vintage and found goods, using recyclable, biodegradable and compostable shipping materials whenever possible, and minimizing the amount of carbon emissions used by shipping. If you have questions, comments or concerns, please reach out to our customer care team at info@viandmercantile.com with any items you are interested in. Our team is eager and excited to discuss our collections and help guide you on your purchase before your order is placed. We kindly ask that you review our return and exchange policy and contact us with any questions before you place your order.
Online Purchases
We do not accept returns or exchanges on items from the following categories: vintage, found, one-of-a-kind, and furniture. All other purchases may be returned for a store credit only. Viand Mercantile does not provide return shipping labels. Customers are responsible for packaging, shipping, and any additional costs incurred as a result of returns. Order over $30 before shipping costs will be subject to restocking fees.
Exchanges
If you have opted for an exchange due to preference, the above return policies will apply. To proceed with an exchange, please place an order for the new items and email us at sales@viandmercantile.com. The new order will go out on the following Monday. Refund of the exchanged item will be processed within 3 business days of receiving it back at Viand Mercantile in new, unused condition. Items broken in transit are the responsibility of the customer and should be submitted as a claim through the shipping carrier selected.
International Returns
All purchases to Canada are final sale and are not eligible for a return or exchange.
Damaged, Defective, Or Incorrect Item
If your order or anything in it has arrived damaged, defective or if you’ve received an incorrect item, please contact us at info@viandmercantile.com within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item(s), box, and the packaging. Outcomes depend on the category of the products purchased and will be handled closely to achieve a happy outcome for you!
Lost Or Damaged Parcels, Incorrect & Incomplete Delivery Address
We cannot be held responsible for damages, delays, lost parcels and/or additional charges incurred by DHL, USPS or UPS during shipping. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that a proper shipping address is provided when placing an order. Items returned to sender due to a failed delivery attempt that has surpassed the allotted days held at the carrier's facility, improper or incomplete address will be the responsibility of the customer.
